Data Removal
Last updated: 4 September 2026
Google Play requires every app to provide a way to request deletion of your data. Here is ours, along with an honest explanation of why it is short.
We hold nothing to delete
Gildeck has no server, no account and no cloud storage. Nothing you enter reaches us. The only data that exists is on your own phone:
- your date of birth
- your chosen language
- today's free-comparison counter
- whether a PRO subscription is active
We cannot see any of it, so there is nothing on our side for us to erase.
How to delete everything, right now
Option 1 — clear the app's data. Android Settings → Apps → Gildeck → Storage → Clear data. The app returns to its first-run state and asks for a date of birth again.
Option 2 — uninstall. Removing Gildeck removes its private storage with it, including everything listed above.
Either option is immediate and complete. No request to us is needed and nothing is retained afterwards.
Your subscription
A PRO subscription is a record held by Google Play, not by us. Deleting the app's data does not cancel it, and we cannot delete it on your behalf. Manage or cancel it in the Play Store: your profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Google's handling of that record is covered by Google's privacy policy.
If you would still like to make a request
You are welcome to write to us and we will respond, even though the answer will normally be the explanation above:
Please put "Data removal — Gildeck" in the subject line. We reply within 30 days.
